Mrs. Darla Fischer

Hello, my name is Darla Fischer. I have grown up in this community and have seen many changes in our school over the years. I have taught here at Irma School for 25 years and am very excited about our new school that we will move into next fall. I have taught grades Kindergarten all the way through to grade 10. This year takes me back to some elementary classes and the Inclusive Learning Coordinator for our school. I enjoy the growth that I get to see as our students go through their schooling here.

My husband Greg and I have three incredible girls that have gone through our school system and are now off on their own.  Madison is married and living in Lynchburg, Virginia, USA and works for Liberty University. Sydney graduated from Elmira, New York and is nursing at the Wainwright Health Centre. Morgan is in her third year of business at King's University in Edmonton as part of an Inclusive Learning program. 

I am proud of our staff and students and truly love the "family" atmosphere that we are surrounded by.
